41Mac & Cheese, that is. My friends here have been raving about this restaurant/bar in Covington, KY called Keystone. It’s main attraction is the half-off mac & cheese on Monday nights. I don’t know about you, but m&c always warms my soul and reminds me of a true comfort food. I’m not really one to discriminate between Kraft mac or homemade mac…I like it all. So when I went to check out Keystone for the first time last week, I was so excited to see a menu full of all types of m&c. Each one is named after a different band, like Pink Floyd, NIrvana, Fleetwood Mac, Black Sabbath…you get the point. I ordered the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which had jalapenos and tomatoes. It was simple with a bit of a kick, and oh so tasty. I didn’t get a chance to try out much else on their pretty extensive menu, but everything looked and sounded really tasty. The atmosphere at Keystone is pretty chill and the perfect place to meet friends for dinner or happy hour. If the weather holds up, you can even grab a table outside and take in some of the fresh summer air. Like all of my other food/restaurant reviews in Cincy, I’d definitely recommend this place too- just don’t leave your leftovers like I did.
